NACO Charts in Rochester -- If you plan ahead!
Our government NACO office has changed
who can sell: Sectionals, Airport Facility Directories, Instrument Charts,
Approach Plates etc. You may or may not be able to get them from your
local FBO as you are walking to the airplane anymore. They have raised the
minimum a dealer must sell by so much that many former dealers are not
going to handle them anymore. So, plan ahead!
Ronn
DenOuden has started a sub-dealership for NACO aviation charts and
will pass on the savings to those who wish to participate. This is
for EAA Chapter 100 members and SEMN Flying Club members.
Prices are as follows:
- 20% off published list price for
single orders
- 25% off published list price for
standing orders
- Shipping costs are included
- See the NACO
website for their price list. The links on the left under
"FAA Products" is probably what you want.
Terms:
- Place (email) your order to Ronn
at least 2 weeks before the edition date. That's before Feb 1st
for the next edition.
- You will be able to pick up your new
charts at the RST airport (Ronn will tell you where)
- Ronn
will send you an e-mail when they are in.
- To make this work, you must pay for
the charts before or at the time of pickup. If you don't pay
and/or pick them up, you will be black-balled from ever ordering again
and other nasty consequences I can't even mention here.
